Launched in 2012, Social Teeth was an experiment in crowd-sourced political advertising. We gave everyday people and activists a platform to broadcast their own political messages.
Stanford’s acclaimed d.school inspired 50 teams of graduate students to pitch projects at the Aspen Ideas Festival 2012. Social Teeth was one of the winners. Watch the presentation.
After Aspen, we worked on some incredible campaigns. We backed grassroots media, like this video from It’s Time Marriage Equality that garnered 7.7 billion views on Youtube. We hosted political underdogs, like Governor Gary Johnson , the most influential third party candidate for the 2012 presidential elections.
